Meet Our Team
Grant is the founding member of Diya Travel Consultants having established it in 2007. He has ten years of travel and tourism experience having managed an abseil company, a couple of accommodations, being an events manager, managing a wine tour operator and being a tour guide specialising in wine, the Garden Route and overlanding. He has travelled most of Southern Africa - Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Zambia, South Africa, Lesotho and Swaziland.

Since a young age Diane toured and travelled South Africa extensively, it became a way of life. She travelled and worked abroad and on cruise ships for a long time allowing her to see much of the world. Her favourite places are in the Mediterranean. She studied Photography, Tourism Management and Public Relations. She loves being outside with a glass of wine which gives her lot do in Cape Town. She loves new faces and places and is always on the lookout for an adventure.

Astrid spent 3 years travelling throughout Europe before getting into the serious business of exploring her beloved African continent. She has travelled around Africa by plane, bus, and even a borrowed bicycle. She has drummed in Botswana, swam in Lake Malawi, hitchhiked in Namibia, climbed banana trees in Tanzania and played with pythons in Mombasa. Astrid writes up all Diya Travel Consultant’s newsletters and most of the blog entries. And whenever she can; she goes roadtripping. Her travel, culture, and investigative articles have been published across a variety of national print and online media.

Travelling for Nathalie is not only a passion but as a student of Geography at the University of Bonn, Germany, it is also a profession. She travelled vastly through Europe, travelled to Malta and France for language courses and studied a year abroad in Ireland. Always keen about seeing the world and meeting new friends, she stayed with host families in the US and Tunisia, visiting places like Mexico and is now exploring South Africa where she is working with us on our Green Portfolio.
