The word Garden Route comes from the first settlers movement towards the East Coast and this stunning region marked their ideas of the Garden of Eden, hence Garden Route. This incredible region consists of 21 tows which run from the Cango Caves in the Karoo to the majestic Outeniqua Mountains in George. This Southern Africa botanical treasure is also known as the most beautiful region in the Cape, if not the world, its beauty is invigorating and breathtaking, with its beaches, mountains, lakes, rivers and kloofs.
